Personality Profiling
How do you operate best when working as a team? What work-style suits you? We're thankfully all different, and recognising how you work most effectively is your key to success. So what's the logic in attending a course which takes a "one size fits all" approach? This is why PMc uses personality profiling to ensure you get leave the day's sessions with a tailored action plan that works for you.
The History Lesson
Did you know the origins of personality profiling can be traced back to the days of the Greek physician Hippocrates at around 450 BC? Since then, man has been fascinated with understanding different behavioral styles. The most common application of personality profiling in the 21st century is in the process of assessing potential candidates for roles. In fact, most larger companies use this as an essential pre-requisite to assessing the most appropriate candidates for a vacancy.
Our Approach
PMc believe that understanding your personality profile is also critical to planning your next steps.
Before working with you on your Career Action Plan, we ask you to complete a detailed personality questionnaire. This gives you and us a valuable insight into the way you work, and how best you can manage your career.
We'll also make understanding your personality profile really easy. Once you have confirmed your attendance on one of our upcoming courses, we'll send you an online link to complete a detailed personality questionnaire. We'll then spend some time with you on the day discussing your results, and then working with you to create an action plan that plays to your strengths.
For example, are you particularly strong at taking ideas and making them work in practice? Are you great at solving problems using creative ideas? Do you have a particular talent for networking?
Having a really good understanding of your strengths and weaknesses will mean that we can help you devise an action plan that's going to make the most of your talents, and get you the role that will allow you to excel.
